I grew up in Utah, Texas, and Colorado and am grateful for a wonderful family. In addition to mathematics and computing, I enjoy nature, fishing, oldies, and Spanish pop. I married the love of my life in Los Angeles in 2014 and we moved across the country to Philadelphia, where I was a postdoctoral instructor and researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2018 to 2020, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, on the shores of beautiful Seneca Lake. Starting in 2021, I am working with Andre Platzer and his group at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
